Latest EXPENSES application
I have posted my latest expense claim, to cover the period from July to November 2011. You may know that I do not normally claim for travel incurred in the borough. This claim includes travelling to Birmingham for a seminar on planning and to London for a Safer Communities Conference. Expenses claimed – May to July 2011
Please find posted my expenses claim form for the first three months of this Municipal Year (May to July 2011). I feel I should explain that I do not claim mileage when using my car to travel to meetings in or near to Solihull Town Centre. The two claims relate to my attendance at seminars in Birmingham City Centre and West Bromwich. 
I ought to post details of these seminars because both were very valuable. The West Bromiwch one was an all day event about the drive for Low Emissions in Towns and Cities (yes, I do recognise the irony having driven there!) and the second was about a brilliant Sandwell organisation called ‘Ageing Well’ who represent the voice of the elderly. I’ll seek out papers from these events and post them soon.
