This issue was the subject of a post on 25 May. The petition went before the Cabinet Member for Safer Communities on 7 September (report here: Hillfields Park play area ). I am pleased to confirm that the fencing surrounding the children’s play area is to be replaced, with funds coming from the parks budget.
This is a good example of residents seeking to challenge decisions. Thanks to all residents who put their names to the petition and the Park Users Group for bringing the issue to my attention.
