LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN – PRESENTING PETITIONS

This week I presented two large petitions to the senior officer at Solihull Council leading the production of the boroughs Local Development Plan Review.

The petitions were in respect of Allocations 4 and 12 (further information about these sites can be found via links shown below). Both petitions had the support of over 1000 people.

What Happens Next?

The council will produce its plan for submission later this summer and submit it for examination in public – here a planning inspector will hold a (sort of) public inquiry where people can make representations about the plan. If the same format as 2013 is followed, this will be held over several weeks in the council chamber at the civic suite. Residents can make representations.
