A9 BUS SERVICE – Confirmation:
This really good news and confirmation of the great work undertaken by TfWM in providing a new service through the borough. It will be an hourly service from BVP to Solihull Town-centre, then onto Olton, Yardley and Kingshurst.
The route goes along Cheswick Way and Monkspath Hall Road, thereby providing an additional service for many of us in Blythe ward.
The stop details will become known soon and I will share them when known, thy will however be found on the TfWM website.
The service is being provided by Stagecoach and the timetable begins on 1 January 2023.
In line with the national scheme single cash fares on this service will cost a maximum of £2 for the first three months and Stagecoach will also sell their full range of ticket products including the nBus multi-operator ticket which enables travel on other operators buses, including National Express.
This service is being funded using money TfWM have received from central government for delivery of the West Midlands Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP).
