Through the council’s established Traffic Regulation Order Framework process a number of locations in Dickens Heath Village were identified as priority locations in the Highway Management 2022/23 works programme to be considered for the introduction of new or amended parking restrictions.
Double yellow lines are therefore proposed to prohibit parking and regulate the kerbside space at various locations to aid road safety and help to facilitate the free passage of traffic.
The restrictions are proposed in response to concerns raised by the local community in respect of obstructive parking and the consultation runs from 26 January for three weeks.
