Age UK are offering Solihull Borough residents over 50 FREE digital training sessions. They have trained volunteers to teach anyone who would like to learn how to do things like accessing local services (like GP services or the NHS app), registering for online banking, communicating with family and friends or simply searching for information in their local area.
They are running 7 week courses throughout Solihull (North and South)at various locations.
For those people who cannot get out due to mobility they can visit the client in their own home and are also planning to run ‘drop in sessions’ where people can bring their equipment and speak to someone on a 1 to 1 basis.
If they don’t have their own equipment they can loan them it free of charge and can choose to purchase it at a discounted price if they decide to keep it.
