SOLIHULL TOWN CENTRE ENERGY NETWORK – Early works:

As part of the energy network pipework installation, works to the Alderbrook river crossing began this week as indicated on the site plan. This work is a priority section for installation due to the Environment Agency permit that is in place which requires that this crossing is completed by 1 October 2024 to protect spawning fish.

Works will then continue back towards the Energy Centre site adjacent to the leisure centre to the end of November 2024.

Local pathway closures will be required within the park areas close to the works but will only be made as necessary to move materials from a storage compound to site and immediate vicinity of the works to protect members of the public.

Further pipework installation across Tudor Grange Park has been programmed throughout 2024 up to August 2025 and further updates will be provided in due course.

I posted information about the project recently: https://cllrkenhawkins.co.uk/2024/07/31/solihull-town-centres-low-carbon-energy-network/
