Whitlocks Reach, Dickens Heath

I have posted about this site before – it forms the smaller plot of site BL1 within the (now withdrawn local plan). Planning application PL/2024/00728/PPFL for 90 homes was submitted in April last year.

Full details of the application can be found on the councils planning portal: https://publicaccess.solihull.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=SC3DRWOEHLK00

A few important documents are posted here:

You will find the NHS Integrated Care System is seeking some £345,167 by way of contribution towards primary and secondary care.

In the Flood Risk Assessment, within the conclusions are two sentences (page 17) which need confirming at the planning hearing:

The proposed development will not impede flood flow, will not result in a net loss of floodplain and will not adversely impact flood risk within or external to the Site.

It is considered that the proposed development, subject to detailed design, will not increase the risk of flooding and planning permission should not be withheld on the basis of flood risk.
