Thanks go to a resident from Shirley/Majors Green for highlighting this issue.
The map shows the location of the bridlepath, that leads from Dickens Heath Road, through green space and towards Bills Lane. There is a smashing circular walk, but unfortunately, as you can see from the video, there is a stretch that is completely impassable; even though the path has rock underneath.
I do appreciate we have had a lot of rain and fields are flooded, but I feel there is more to it and suspect the issue is water running from the nearby land, known as the Christmas Tree Farm. I am asking our flood protection officers and public rights of way officers to look into this. The walk is a valued green space and a few days of nice weather wont rectify it in the short term.
