My original post regarding the budget was dated 22 February 2017 and can be read here: This post contains all budget papers at the meeting held yesterday evening.

The upshot of the meeting was that an additional £4m was allocated to tackle the pressures on Adult Social Services and the budget was agreed by the Conservative controlling group, LibDems and UKIP. There was agreement between these three groups there should be a national solution to funding adult social care.

I have filmed a short video explaining the budget. I hope you like it (it took ages to upload and I don’t know why it has been posted three times – it is the same one, you don’t have to view them all).
