Solihull celebrates 16 of the best parks and green spaces in the country – YET AGAIN!

Local volunteers and Solihull Council are celebrating after receiving Green Flag Awards for 16 parks, cemeteries and green spaces. The award is the international quality mark for parks and green spaces.

Solihull Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment and Highways, Cllr Ken Hawkins, said: “Our parks and green spaces have played a vital role for people through lockdowns as places to relax, exercise and meet friends and family. The news that we have retained all 16 Green Flag Awards in Solihull is testament to the hard work and dedication of both council staff and our army of local volunteers. Thank you to everyone involved in making parks and green spaces such beautiful places for everyone to enjoy.”
