You may have picked up from news reports that development of what we now know is ‘Arden Cross’ is moving forward. This is the triangle site between the NEC, A45 dual carriageway and the proposed HS2 Interchange Station.
Essentially there are two projects (as well as HS2) moving this forward; Arden Cross and UK Central/Urban Growth Company. I have posted links to some of the documents (business plans) and inks to their respective websites.
Whether you were for and opposed to HS2 it is here to stay and it essential the borough and region gets the best out of this investment into the region.
The concept is an incredible investment in an area that needs investment and will make great use of the connectivity with HS2, the mainline railways station, NEC and Airport.
UK Central is amongst one of the country’s strongest performing economies in Solihull and presents outstanding inward investment opportunities, a strong lifestyle offer and a bold future ambition for growth. Its website is sown here: https://www.investinukcentral.com/
You will find its projects include; North Solihull, Blythe Valley Park and Solihull Town Centre. This is an exciting time for the borough to ensure growth of jobs and financial viability.
